Agility appoints new AP head
Asia - DHL's Hans Hickler has been appointed CEO of Asia Pacific at Agility, replacing Wolfgang Hollermann who will transition to a new role as advisor to the Global Integrated Logistics president and CEO Essa Al-Saleh.
Hickler was most recently CEO of Global Customer Solutions at DHL based in the US, overseeing the development and sale of customer solutions for all DHL business units including DHL Supply Chain, Warehousing & Distribution, and the Forwarding and Express products.
"We are excited about Hans joining us at an important time of Agility's development. He has an extensive background that has encompassed all parts of the business and has worked in the Asia Pacific region before so we are confident he is ready to take Agility to a new level," said Essa Al-Saleh.
Hollerman took on the advisor role since March 1 after nearly 20 years of service with Agility. He will work with Hans to ensure a smooth transition in the Asia Pacific region.
