Australia - The successful candidate will drive change in relation to process engineering and optimisation as well as change management to improve the overall end user logistics operation.

Role description:

Jigsaw Search has been engaged to source an experienced Logistics Manager to ensure continuous improvement of the DC network as well as maintain profitability of the group in conjunction with business stakeholders. The successful candidate will drive change in relation to process engineering and optimisation as well as change management to improve the overall end user logistics operation.

Process Improvement:

• Investigate and audit in the areas of: process control systems, systems development & operational process (best practice)
• Capacity analysis and project management to support business growth through long term capital investment

Continuous Improvement:

• Audit the process of the development and implementation of continuous improvement tools and procedures across the site

Initiatives:

• Investigate & develop proposals and manage the implementation of site initiatives to reduce cost, meet annual targets

Requirements:

• Drive change in relation to process improvement with an outcome of developing a continuous improvement mindset amongst the Logistics team
• Recommend, lead and implement cost reduction and productivity improvement activities, with a focus on attainment of Key Performance Indicators
• Coordinating and managing relationships amongst team members and stakeholders to ensure development of a coherent and well supported plan
• Use of PAL project management tools and status updates to drive the changes
• Other specific responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Occupational Health & Safety, Staff Development & Training , Quality Systems, Transport Management, SAP

Salary range: A$140k + Risk
